/04 · Questions
Straight answers.
The things most owners ask before a custom software project. Anything else, we are one message away.
What does custom software cost?
We quote a fixed price after a short discovery call, not an open-ended hourly meter. Small internal tools often land in the four figures; bigger portals and multi-system integrations run five. Either way you know the number before any work starts, and it doesn't move unless the scope does.
How long does a custom software project take?
Most internal tools and portals ship a first working version in 4 to 10 weeks. We build in weekly demos, so you see real progress every week instead of waiting for a big reveal at the end.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do, completely. The code lives in your accounts, the data is yours, and everything is documented so any developer could pick it up later. No lock-in, no hostage situations.
What happens after launch?
Every project includes a 30-day fix window where anything that breaks is on us. After that, most clients keep a small monthly care plan for updates and improvements, but it's optional, the software is built to run without us.
Can you take over or fix software someone else built?
Often, yes. We start with a short code review and give you a straight answer: fixable, worth rebuilding, or fine as it is. If the honest answer is that you don't need us, we'll say that too.
